Venus Fly Traps! Do they really eat flies? Oh, my. The Venus flytrap is a carnivorous plant that might be found on the East Coast of the United States. It catches insects and arachnids. The “trigger hairs” start the catching process. The plant can tell if it caught a live bug worthy of consumption. So, yes, they eat flies. It might take a few days for the plant to eat a fly, and it may not need a meal again for weeks. So, Miss Owl wanted to plant one to see what happens.

The Plaza Playground experience was pure joy for Miss Owl and us as we watched her jump and play. It is close by and is open 365 days a year. She loved the Kangaroo jumping floor the best.
