S-Blends Words and Pocket Chart Cards Free PDFs
S-blends words and pocket chart cards printable freebie, below.
I recently read Mary Had a Sleepy Sheep and was inspired to make a beginning s-blend word cards. Most of the words are s-blends, but a few other blends are included as well. You might like additional book companions for books by Julia Dweck at this link.
The book is not required to use the printable, but would be nice to have on hand. Mary Had a Sleep Sheep is by Julia Dweck, and I got my copy on Amazon for Kindle. Basically, Mary’s sheep just won’t wake up and she tries all sorts of imaginative ways to try to keep her sheep awake. Finally, of course, she does find a very clever way. Now, will the sheep kindly stop making so much noise? Will Mary be able to sleep? This is a fun story for children.
Julia Dweck also wrote BLUCY, which I blogged about a few weeks ago.
As I noticed words with beginning blend sounds, many are in the printable. The list of all the words is under the photo. I hope you find it helpful.
